Many will not know this word ‘slumdog’ until this movie took an Oscar.

This movie portrays the reality of life and sparked many controversies; among them are issues regarding Indian diasporas, cruelty on child actors, smearing of India’ reputation and A.R. Rahman’s song ‘Jai Ho’

However, this movie really makes us think about the condition and the effect of our society today.

Some Interesting Observation

Lee Kuan Yew was the PM of Singapore all along when Malaysia had three changes of PM (from Abdul Rahman, Abdul Razak, Hussien Onn and Mahathir)

The first PM of Singapore is still alive and very active today, while the first three PM of Malaysia have rested in peace.

The longest serving PM of Singapore is Lee Kuan Yew (32 years) while the longest serving PM of Malaysia is Mahathir (23 years)

Whatever the leadership will become,it is our responsibility as citizen of the land that we live to pray and intercede for wisdom, well-being and welfare of our government.
